OBJECTIVE
Digitally illustrate a canvas with as much detail and information as possible while conveying a narrative.
CONCEPT
Illustrated my virgin experience at Burning Man 2011: Rites of Passage. Burning Man was selected as the narrative experience because it is a10-day festival of excess thematically aligned with the concept of 'More is More.' After illustrating and printing the canvas front and back, the image was cut into a deck of approximately 200 cards and shuffled for the class to piece together like a puzzle. Involving class participation further reinforced the concept of 'More is More' while speaking to the collaborative nature of Burning Man.
